This 1984 C-10 is a great example of less is more. This truck was brought to me in completely stock form, of course that didn’t last long. We immediately tore the truck down and gave it a full suspension upgrade. We used a KP Components 6-link on the rear, which gives it great lift for clearing those larger wheels while making a short wheelbase truck ride like a caddy. The bed floor was raised which gave us ample room to locate all of our air ride components as well as the new aluminum fuel cell underneath. We stripped this truck of its bulky fuel system, its cluttered engine compartment, and its overall “work truck” attributes; nevertheless, we tried to keep the more appealing aspects of the truck simple, such as the bed floor and the factory two-tone paint. Once again, in this case less is more. Keep checking back as this truck gets a new drivetrain, interior, and factory two-toned paint.
