This is a 2002 Tahoe that has been turned into the ultimate family hauler. I guess if you have to have a four door vehicle, then why not lay it on its frame and give it the ability to tuck 26’s. Derek opted to take his Tahoe to the next level with a new back-half frame, triangulated four link, stainless steel fuel tank, and new sheetmetal tubs and floor. Not to undersell the front suspension, because we had countless hours in rebuilding the upper and lower control arm brackets in order to get all the geometry just right while tucking 32 inches of tire. Along with relocating the control arms, we also had to build custom bag mounts and steering components. The amount of fabrication on this tahoe is plentiful, however, it is necessary in order to have the outstanding ride quality and reliability this one does.
